Luck and Cheer!

..is right around the corner! I woke up this morning with a vision! It all started with this chair placed in our backyard. I have no idea where this vision came from..but I just love the chair we snag up from Target..under $100!

Our neighbors were soo nice to take our picture!



Then we had fun shooting our little model! He sat on that chair forever!

A New Cupcake Boutique!

Today, I made my way to a new cupcake boutique in Manhattan Beach, CA called Cupcakes Couture of Manhattan Beach. It is absolutely adorable! I came across it on Facebook of all places! So I felt soo compelled to share this with all of you!

Instead of buying regular size cupcakes I went with some mini! The best way to sample all the flavors! 4 for $5!

They also bake a cupcake that is a 100 calories! They call it the "bikinis" but unfortunately they were all sold out this afternoon. Below is a picture of one! Wouldn't this be a nice treat after a busy stressful day after work!

I also learned they have a party room where they can hold parties for kids and adults! Bridal & baby showers... along with birthday parties! So, if you live in Southern California I recommend taking a drive to the Manhattan Beach and make a stop a Cupcakes Couture!

A Couple of Trips!

The Nest had a segment on "5 Trips to Take With Couple Friends." Now that most of our friends are engaged or married..these ideas would be a ton of fun!

The article recommends staying at the Red Rock Resort. I was there about three years ago and it was amazing! Beautiful...ugh! I can't find the words to describe it! :) The resort is minutes from downtown but it is filled with tons of activities..that we really didn't want to leave the grounds!

we loved our room! you can see the tv up in the top left corner! Yes, soaking in the tub watching your favorite show!



The Red Rock has a bowling alley, movie theater, food court and an upscale club called Rocks Lounge. Oh and no worries it has a huge floor filled with tables to gamble your heart out!

I hope our future trips include Napa and Breckenridge!!! Has anyone been to these places before! Any advice!!?

My Little Love

I just had to share a picture of the valentines we mailed out to friends and family. They turned out soo perfect! My little Kingston is so photogenic!

I love sending cards and photos to loved ones for each holiday. In fact, I am already searching for the perfect St. Pattys card! Anyone else get all giddy when creating adorable cards? I had a blast creating my STDs and Thank Yous for our wedding. I hope you all had a fun Valentines weekend!

Snow..with a Side of Snow!

This past weekend was not full of birthday fun...the weather put a cramp in our plans and having us call off my birthday party. My heart broke when we had to send out the message! I can not believe how much snow that accumulated!! My Father took these two pics of me..

I am so glad I didn't have to shovel all of this!



I thought this was a neat shot my Husband took..to show how high the snow was..

So, this also meant I had to cancel my amazing dessert table! tear tear... I did make sure that Jasmine from Couture Cakery, formerly known as Sprinkles and Swirls, still press on with creating me a beautiful cake! Oh and did she!!

I think she did a fantastic job creating a cake that matched my invitations!

A red velvet with lemon butter-cream cake! It was delicious!




So, I plan on rescheduling a party for all of our friends and family hopefully this spring before all the weddings start up. I will definitely use Couture Cakery again. Jasmine even did a little post on this adorable cake! Click HERE! She was professional, sweet and talented! It was a quick and freezing visit home to the East Coast!
