It was so hard to see him sick...and then he would have the shakes...his poor little tummy had to be soo sore..he was so limp and fatigued.. I wish I could have stayed with him at the hospital while he rested with IVs. The Doctor called me about an hour ago letting me know that Kingston can come home tonight but with strict orders. Obviously, I can't leave him alone...

Ok readers, have you ever called off work due to a sick pet? I am lucky that my job is so understandable but at the sametime I feel sooo guilty! I don't have anyone to watch Kingston and take care of him during the week. The Doctor says he needs to be supervised (of course) he is still having some diarrhea... So, tomorrow I am only working a 1/2 day and my incredible neighbor said she would watch him in the afternoon for me. If this was a child...nobody would question why I took off work...but I do know there are some people out there who just don't understand...Kingston is my kid...my companion...he is part of our family. I am sitting here in my living room thinking... "Wow its so quiet and boring!" I miss him soo much and I am anxious for 8:30 to roll around! Poor little guy!
Here is a picture taken a week ago in Rancho Palos Verdes...we had such a nice day!
So, please say a little prayer for our Little Man! Updates will follow!!

Aw!! I hope he feels better soon! I've stayed home from work for Kelsey before... she needed her mommy! :)
awww poor little pumpkin!! :) feel better soon!!!!!
Poor little dog! Hope he's doing better and I say if your work is understanding, then take the time off you need to take care of him. I'd help out if we lived closer! :)
Oh no!!! I hope he's feeling better! I was just thinking about this today since I'm at a new job and I think my dog might have another mast cell (yes we have 3 pugs, 2 have had cancerous mast cell tumors... poor babies) and I was thinking what they'd think about me taking time off. Dogs are kids!!!!
Cute blog. Such sweet dogs too. :)
