I was looking over at Pottery Barn today..we were given a gift card for our wedding and it has been over a year and we have yet to use it, hope it still works :)

I came across this lovely jewelry dish...wouldn't this make a beautiful gift for a bride to be?

It is just so darn cute!

A Dazzling Send Off

I am currently loving the sparkler send off ! They make the best pictures... I mean besides 4th of July, when else can you play with beautiful sparklers?  Now, I am currently taking some photography classes and there is a lot to know. The only way to get better is with tons of practice. When the Bride asked me to take pictures of their send off I think my heart froze.. I was soo thrilled that I was asked but at the same time not sure I could pull it off... Keep it in focus...check the lighting... what is my shutter speed? But I got at least 1 good shot! Few.. I would have liked to have gotten her entire dress in the shot...but everything happened way to fast!  Hey photographers out there.. any suggestions for shooting night time...with sparklers?

Do you plan on having some dazzle for your send off?

Photobooths!

This was my first wedding that had a photo booth! It was super fun and if your budget allows I totally recommend it! Here are a couple pictures from the evening on board the Majestic!

They had small chalkboard frames...So we could write whatever we wanted! Super cute.

Next, this is me and my hubby...he injured his mouth approx 2 months prior to our wedding day. A huge tree limb came flying up and sliced his lip. So, he attempted to "pucker" his lips and well..they gave out at the last second! His injuries could have been much more serious so we are super lucky they weren't!
So, now we have this hilarious picture...poor guy! :D

My friend Karen, who is from the East Coast...well we couldn't resist representing! Can you read what our boards say?!!

Our friends were in the bridal party..and they looked amazing all done up!

Lastly, they had some good poses!

The company Anna & Josh used were Party Booths! Check them out!

Unique Concept

I have been coming across tons of weddings with this unique design for flowers presented down the aisles. Please someone tell me how they do it?! I think it's a beautiful idea!

Do you see those adorable white flowers? They are perfectly standing up from the ground. How cheerful!

Relentless Bride had a planted aisle as well!

So, if you are having an outside ceremony...please consider this unique concept for your aisle decor! It is our last week of July!! Why is this summer flying by so fast?

Reminiscing my Forever After

It has been a while since I went back and looked thru all our Forever After shots...which we did last August.  I forgot about all the images that I decided not to print out. Not that I didn't like them...we just had too many that we loved! So, I am releasing a few more from our shoot.

Makes me want to jump in the car and head up to Malibu...and enjoy the day on this beach!

I wanna throw my dress on and run back into that water!

It feels good to go back and reminisce about our day in Malibu...it will also always remind us of our time spent in California!

Jones!

I love anything personalized...it makes that "something" a whole lot more special!   As I have mentioned before, I am planning a bridal shower next spring and I always want to do a perfect job! So, I have been pondering on several ideas.  Then I came across the Jones Soda bottles over at TheKnot.

I like how it serves as a placecard and favor.  The ideas are endless! So, I figured why not take a gander and check out the details.  The site is extremely user friendly. There are currently eleven flavors and several colors to match any wedding/event theme. I also checked out the prices. Currently, it is $29.99/12pack & $16.99/6pack. If you had 150 guests, it would cost approx $375 + shipping. Not sure if I would have spent this much for our wedding but for a bridal shower, this just might be an option.

Did you go this route for your wedding or event? Did everything turn out great?! Any suggestions!!?
