House of Harlow

Nicole Ritchie has come out with a gorgeous line of jewerly and headpieces called House of Harlow 1960. My friend purchased one for her Hawaii wedding and it just added an extra special detail! It looked gorgeous on her, especially with the beautiful scenery of Hawaii in the background!  See below.

Here is a picture from our mini mock up shoot. You can see it a bit better in this close up shot.

There are many more different designs of this jewelry headpiece.
Here is the ever famous Kim Kardashian sporting a brass headpiece.

Chamilia is a Calling!

I have previously posted on Pandora Bracelets..but I think I found something I like a bit better! It's called Chamila..It is another type of charm bracelet but if you ask me...the beads are much more gorgeous! Below are just a few to show...

The closest store to me (I live in LA) is in Long Beach. So the Husband drove me down to see what this other type of bracelet is all about! First, they have a bangle type bracelet! Which I totally LOVE! How it works is..the ends twist off and you slide the beads on..You can put 2 to several beads on the bracelet to give it different looks...

I found this picture below to show how it looks with four beads on each side. The silver ball on the end is easy to adjust to give more or less room for the beads.

I also learned that Chamilia sets the stones into the beads unlike Pandora who uses glue..then over time the Pandora gems loose their shine! Another good thing is Pandora and Chamilia beads are interchangeable! So, if you already have a ton of Pandora beads..they will fit on your new Chamilia bracelet! The bangle bracelet costs approximately $60.

These bracelets would make adorable bridesmaid gifts! A bit pricey but absolutely adorable!

Pandora

Is anyone else up on the new trend of Pandora? That is Pandora Jewerly?! Last year for my birthday my family gave me a Pandora bracelet with a couple of charms. I wasn't necessarily in love with it at first but after this year of collecting charms....I'm loving it more!

What I love about the Pandora charm bracelet is that you can make it anyway which way. The charms range from $25-a couple hundred dollars. My parents purchased me a wedding cake as a symbol of our wedding and my Husband comes home every now and then with a charm...which always makes me melt :) So over the past year I have come to collect several charms.

Yes, since I love purple...I kinda went with that theme :) Oh, and if you do plan on getting one of these bracelets I totally recommend purchases a safety chain. Once your bracelet is full of charms you can only imagine how much your bracelet is worth. The safety chain is only $25.00!

Below is a picture of one of my most special charms...an ice cream cone! Represents Penn State's Creamery Ice Cream! Yes, now many other jewerly stores are selling charms that fit on the Pandora bracelet. You can also see a good idea of what the safety chain looks like.

Anyone else collecting Pandora Charms?

Happy Thursday!

Rings!!

On Thursday, we went to Robbins Bros to pick up my wedding band! Since my engagement ring did not come with a partner band it was up to me to search and hunt for one! It was actually a difficult task! A huge thank you to those at Robbins Bros and the talented Jeff Cooper!!

I especially loved the little light in the ring box. Details...Details...

Did your ring come with a matching band?

Happy New Years!

Another year down....and a lot has happend this past year...moving to Los Angeles is obviously the biggest event that occured for me! As I look forward to 2009...excitement, adventure, challenges...are just some of the words that come to mind... My one and only resolution is to find a job that I enjoy and feel like I am making a difference in someones' life. Even if it takes me 5 years..I will find it!

I Fell In LOVE!

Yesterday, the Fiance and I drove down to OC to go shopping for Christmas! I had only one goal in mind..which were to locate my CHANEL earrings! For the past 2 years, he has waited till the last minute to purchase them for me and of course they were always sold out! You may have seen them before, they are very popular! Two tiny C's! Well, to my luck they were not sold out and I was happy!! Merry Christmas!! As the salesperson was ringing up the purchase I was walking around and looking at all the gorgeous purses...and other jewelry... I came across a pair of earrings that caught my eye. Of course I had to try them on...It didn't matter how much they were.. I had to see what they looked like on... I fell hard and new they would look perfect with my dress...Well everyone, here are my bridal earrings! It was definitely love at first sight!

I just couldn't get a nice picture of them upclose.. I need a new camera! But ignore the terrible pic of me..and just focus on the earring! Click the pic to enlarge. They have such a vintage feel and look perfect with my dress! Plus, they are a limited edition. Which means..in 10-15 years they will go up in value! What a unique piece of jewerly to keep in the family. Hopefully my daughter will wear these in her wedding. Thank you Mom for contributing to these lovely earrings! {still beaming!!}

Bridesmaid Jewerly

Ever since I started my blog...I have come across many beautiful and creative pieces from Etsy! Sometimes I feel there are too many choices...The other day I came across Natalia Raya Designs from Etsy and fell in love. Here are a couple of my favorites!

These earrings are soo cute!
Do you watch Lipstick Jungle? Well, the character Victory always wears large flower rings...and so of course when I saw this...I gravitated..

Natalia Raya Designs

Yes, this necklace is so modern and simple.

My BMs will be wearing black dresses...I want the jewerly to be simple...So, as of right now I am leaning towards pearls. I have been looking everywhere! My other favorite place to shop for jewerly is from Silpada Jewerly. Want to have a nice evening with the ladies and shop jewerly?! Find a sales rep in your area and book a party! Mix up those martinis and have a good time! My friend just had another one the other week and I ordered some beautiful stuff!!! There is jewerly for all ages...and they even have some items for the boys! Take a peak! Here are some pics of my recent purchases..

I have had this necklace for a while now and I wear it a lot!
