Yep, I saw it tonight...and I am still in complete awe of it... it was the best of the three by far! I read all the books over a year ago and I forgot how much book three goes into each of the Cullen Family members a bit more...learning about who they were prior to becoming "cold ones." It had much more depth and suspense! So, to all my fellow Twilight fans...hurry and go see it cause I promise you... it won't let you down... I promise!

From California?
Went to our very first Dodgers game today! It was definitely fun and has been a long time since I've been to a ball game..The fans actually get up out of their seats for a 7th inning stretch :D It was definitely a beautiful day for a game of baseball!!
When we were leaving the game...we turned to our right and saw this!! I had to take a quick pic of the sign!
We have soo much to see and do before we decide to move back to the East Coast. So, now we can officially cross this off the list! I hope we are able to attend another game this season!! I came up with a California Bucket List!
1. Napa Valley
2. Catalina Island
3. LA Lakers Game
4. Hike up around the Hollywood sign
5. LA Zoo, Griffith Park
6. Lay out on a beach in Malibu
7. San Francisco
8. Run a 5k, 4th of July Redondo Beach
9. Stay 2 nights Terranea Resort, Rancho Palos Verdes
10. Stay 2 nights Cliffs Resort, Pismo Beach
Do you live in California? Recommend anything?!
We have done a lot so far but have so much more to do!

Random Ramblings!
5 Random Ramblings...
1. I just could make up my mind..so far we have 3 different Christmas card designs!
2. Kingston decided to climb the stairs...never before have we witnessed this...we figured the steps were too slippery for him..and since he had his hip surgery..we never pushed him to do it..So, today I was in the kitchen and looked over...Kingston was watching me cook! Random!!
3. I finished decorating our fireplace wall. YAY! I love it!! Now, the rest of the white walls to tackle! oh and yes, I finally found a "D" for Darin's stocking!
4. New Moon soundtrack...Not sure if Id buy it again! It is "okay," and its better now since I saw the movie. But over all...I am very disappointed. The first Twilight Soundtrack was way better!
5. I just received another book I made using Blurb! It is a collection of our TTD or Forever After shoot! It turned out soo cute! I plan on doing one for our rehearsal/bridal shower pictures too! Oh and right now, receive FREE shipping on your next Blurb book using promo code: BLURBSHIP.
Okay, enough randomness for one day!

Blast From the Past!
When I was back east last weekend my Mother made me go through all of my old prom and homecoming gowns! I was really excited and nervous to try them all on! My Mom had the camera ready and we had a mini fashion show in the middle of the living room! Not the best quality images...but you get the idea of what they look like!

Next, my very first Prom dress! I still really love the color and style of this dress....and again...its a bit too big! My Date: Andy

Third..is my 2nd Homecoming dress! I absolutely loved this dress....and still do to this day! I was able to wear it again for a college dance. I love how it criss-crosses under the arms. My Date: Colin

OMG...what was I thinking? This was for a winter formal dance...ugh..happy to discard! I think I purchased it for like 20 bucks! My Date: Kevin

Another Prom dress...I loved this gown! This picture doesn't really show the true beauty of the dress...I remember this dress was a bit pricey... My Date: ohh forget..but i can picture him! Oh his name is Christian!!

Here is a shot from the back....

Oh another homecoming dress! Not very crazy about it..I remember when I found it....cheap/simple/lets go! My Date: Kevin

Prom dress! This was probably the most expensive dress I ever purchased! It has gorgeous rhinestones around the waist...I loved the slit! The color made me look so tan! But I must admit, this dress is huge on me! What happened? My Date: Kevin

So, in the end we are donating the dresses...I hope they find another good home and make another girl smile! These dresses brought back several memories and I am so glad I had one last moment with them :) and yes, Kevin and I went to several dances together!
Ok, first up.... is my very first homecoming dress! It definitely needs a steam! Happy to report that it is a bit too big! My Date: Ryan

I flew back to the east coast this past weekend for my cousin's wedding. It was a small affair with about 60 people in attendance. It was held at the Milestone Inn in Harrisburg Pa. It is an adorable Bed & Breakfast situated along side the Susquehanna River.
The trip definitely went fast (as always) but it was so nice to spend a nice chunk of it with the parents!
It was so nice to see all my family and spend an evening dancing!

Family Pictures
Next month, I have setup a family picture! Me living in LA and the rest of the family back in PA has been very difficult lately. My parents are only getting older and well, so is my "little" brother! The only way to stop time is with a picture :)
I have been hunting for some inspiration shots with clothing ideas!! Which is always the toughest! I came across this shoot from Nicole Green's blog and I just love it! Below are a couple of my favorite shots.

I really REALLY want to capture of shot like this of my parents!!

And..of course a couple of FUN shots!

To see more of these family shots click HERE and head over to Nicole Green's Blog.
Hmm...would be be too much to ask my Family to purchase black North Face jackets? :)
back to searching....

I love the North Face jackets! My family has all different colors though! We will be taking pictures back in PA towards the end of September so it may be a bit chilly!

True Blood!
So, did anyone else watch True Blood lastnight?! It was definitely mixed with humor, bad acting, sadness and handsome Eric!
I loved lastnights episode...and I really enjoyed watching a more sensitive side of Eric...during Sookie's dream :) Only 3 more episodes left! I can't wait!
Is it only me or does Stephen Moyer's (Bill) acting just get worse with every episode?

Social Butterfly

Future Mrs. H over at Think Happy Thoughts awarded me with the Social Butterfly! Thank You Thank you!!!
I shall pass this adorable blog award to...
Stephanie over at "I Do" at The Zoo
and
Chelsea at A Colorado Cupcake
Oh and our TTD session was amazing!!! I can't wait to see a sneak peak on our shoot! By the end of the session my hands were numb and the ocean water was actually feeling warmer than the air. I took my dress to the cleaners today and I'm anxious to see what they can do!

I Heart Deals :)
Today, since I didn't work I decided to go shopping...and I simply wanted to share!
Then I strolled over to Borders..with my handy coupons in hand. I grabbed a copy of each of these! I have read from some other bloggers about both of these book so I had to get a copy for myself.

Have you read either one of these yet? I am anxious to see "The Time Traveler's Wife" in the theater but I really want to read it first!

Here is a picture from Smocks showing the skirt apron I purchased for my friend. I can't wait for her to get it in the mail! Her skirt is way cuter but mine will do for now!

I love coming home with some good deals! Let me know if you are reading these books and what you think!!!
I first hit up Pier One...and snatched up one of these adorable lights...

Finally..I went to World Market and found many things to buy but only walked out with these! I have been wanting an apron since forever but I haven't found THE one.. I know I wanted something bright and colorful...also, I wanted a 1/2 apron. It looks like a skirt... I ordered my girlfriend one of these from Smocks, as a shower gift...but I didn't want to spend that much on myself...Plus, I know I wouldn't use it that often. When I saw the sale price tag of $9.99 I couldn't say no.
Here is a picture of the collection but I only walked away with the skirt apron. It makes me want to bake some cupcakes! The print is just so FUN!

Always Learning....
Oh geez my dear blogger friends...You will never believe this!
I developed a lesion type mark on my cheek...about a 1/2 inch wide and it looked like I had burnt myself with a curling iron. I was seen by a Doctor at the resort who spoke maybe ten words of English... Soon as we flew home I went to my dermatologist who is amazing... and within 1 minute of her looking at me and asking me a few questions she immediately diagnosed :) Are you ready for this word...?

phytophotodermatitis
Yep, that is what she said. I needed her to repeat herself a couple of times until I truely understood what she said. Basically, when I took a bite out of the lime...which was in my amazing margarita, the juice of the lime splashed onto my cheeks. Add that to the extreme sun exposure and bam you get a burn. Yep, and then you get this huge lesion on your face. Not cool. I have heard about color discoloration on the hands when cutting limes..etc but nothing to this extent! I looked horrible!!! I am happy to report that after 6 days post burn it has begun to peel and new skin has arrived!
So, I guess a lesson learned:
1. Don't get near limes when in the sunlight, specifically when in Mexico.
On another note, I can not wait to download some pictures of our trip, specifically our room! Those rooms were amazingly beautiful and they had it all decorated for us! I even took the door sash that said "Honeymooners!"
SOOOO who is getting married soon??

Kingston is so Happy!
Yes, this is soo non wedding related ..but I had to share the good news!!
It seriously has been stressful taking Kingston on the planes...he is small enough to go with us but he hates being in the small travel bag. We have tried about 12 different medications but nothing seems to work. I think we were equally as stressed :) When he was a little puppy..he tolerated the plane ride but as has gotten older things have drastically changed. This just might be our answer to our prayers.
They fly out of Los Angeles (yay!), Denver, Washington DC and New York. Prices range from 149-299 one way. In the past we have used United and US Airways and the prices are always changing. Once we paid 100.00 ...then over Christmas they raised the cost to 200.00 one way. Also, the airlines are so rude to us when we bring Kingston along. They could care less that your pet is freaking out and going nutz! So, personally we would rather pay the extra for the extra care and love they are offering the furry pets. Less stress = more peace!
The company is already booked for the first 2 months! We better book our Christmas tickets asap! Go to www.petairways.com
It is a beautiful day in the South Bay! I hope you are all having a great week!

We are Moving!
Unfortunately, this past holiday weekend was not spent with family & friends enjoying picnics. Instead, it was filled with cleaning, packing and moving! We were definitely bummed that we were not on the beach with our friends drinking some beer and soaking up the rays. But in the end...our new place is much nicer and bigger! I can't wait to have it all unpacked! I was wishing I was Elizabeth Montgomery from Bewitched and magically place everything away!
Since I am such a big snail mail person...I'm trying to find the perfect moving announcements. I have come across a couple adorable announcements but some of the prices are a little too much for me. Since we live in Los Angeles, I am totally in love with these! You can find these at Paper Style right here!

These little moving trucks...simply adorable! Wouldn't you love to receive one of these cuties in the mail? You can find them Here from FPO.

Happy Father's Day
Since I live across the country from my family...there are certain things that I must rely on my brother to do for our parents. It can become very frustrating missing out on certain holidays with the family. My Brother did great getting our Father a new set of golf clubs! My Father is actually recovering from knee replacement surgery and is post opt about 20 days and doing very well! Hopefully these clubs will give him the motivation he needs to get back to 100%!!
I have included two pictures to share. I really love the first picture of my Father looking out at all of our guests....

About two days after our wedding we went out on the boat for a little..it was very relaxing and it was so nice to spend some time with my amazing parents!
