Lets Talk Baby!

As I have mentioned before, two of my neighbors are having babies! Nicole went first and had an adorable perfect little boy! I can't believe how fast time flew..it feels just like last week they were announcing her pregnancy! Her baby shower was tons of fun!!  She received so many precious gifts... well the time has come... here he is! I was able to hold this precious baby in my arms...1.5 days old.. I don't think I have ever held a baby that young...I was given the privilege to take a couple pictures of him for his birth announcements!

We tried hard to keep him awake..but he was determined...

It was fun putting him in different adorable positions...I was surprised he didn't wake up..

I was a bit obsessed with his tiny little feet!

I believe they choose this picture for the birth announcement. We will have to wait & see!

This little boy is simply loveable! Big yawn!

Okay, he feels better!

One of my favorite pictures...

Holding Mommy's finger...

Oh, it was such a blast with the little man! I can't wait for our next date!!!
Congrats to Nicole & Mike, who I am honored to call my friends :)

Father's Day is Sneaking Up!

June 20th is coming up fast... Have you thought about a Father's Day gift? Well, Sony thought they should let me in on some new ideas...its the called the "Dash."  It's a personal internet viewer. Here are a couple of pictures.

Music, news, photos, movies, weather and traffic...checked instantly. It's an upgraded alarm clock! There is over 1,000 applications and no subscription fees along with Wi-Fi connection.

I went ahead to read some of the reviews..and for the most part people were satisfied with their purchase. But there is always going to be some "cons" in any purchase... here is what some people had to say...
Pros: Its great waking up and seeing my live feeds, the weather report and the time all in one. You can also wake up to any of your songs, or online content
Cons: The only way to get your music/pictures onto this thing is via USB stick, and you must leave the usb stick in there as it has no internal storage. So basically it just makes it look tacky.
Pros: beautiful screen, slick design, user interface looks great, alarm works well with lots of options to wake up to, lots of apps
Cons: no battery (for portability OR alarm backup), user interface sluggish in places, not always the most intuitive, no network access to shared folders containing music, pictures, etc.
So, is it worth $199.00? Not sure...I was a little bummed about the no battery backup...but I think I may just take a gander and at least wait till the 2nd generation comes out.  Does anyone have the Dash? What are your thoughts?

Who doesn't love a little black and white?

A picture with a little attitude...they rocked this one!

He is just taking her in....love it!

They have two adorable pups...and they had to make an appearance!

An East Coast Wedding

This past weekend we drove up to Long Island New York for a wedding. We were a little scared about the clouds that were rolling in but by the time the bride walked down the aisle the sky cleared up. The entire wedding took place at The Riviera. Here are some of my favorite pictures from Karen & Charlie's big day.

The ceremony took place outside by the water.

She looked stunning!

I loved how they stopped and kissed for a 2nd time!

Then we were off to the reception...just a couple of steps and we were there!

 The cake was simply elegant!

So after they did the traditional Mother/Father and Son/Mother dance...Karen and her Mother took the spot light... a Daughter/Mother dance! Talk about tears rolling....It was quite evident they have an amazing relationship...reminded me of my Mother...and how much I wish I would have thought about this for my wedding...
A Mother Daughter Dance!
These are my favorite two shots! Her Mother kept touching her hair...so sweet!

Here is the beautiful bride! Check out that gorgeous gown!

I am very anxious to see the professional shots!

Part 2 Anniversary!

So, on Sunday May 30th, our first anniversary..we spent the entire day pool side at my parents house. We were originally going to spend the day in NYC but after soo much traveling we decided to just relax and slow down. The sun was out in full force and we couldn't have asked for better weather. We also got to spend time with my other dog Eli Mae, who I had to leave with my Parents in PA..I just couldn't take her away from her backyard...So we had a little reunion as well! She LOVES to swim..

The day flew by and it was time for dinner...we made reservations but decided to cancel them..we were exhausted from the sun! So, we ate at the house and pulled out our wedding cake!! It tasted so good! hmm lemon and vanilla..  :)

You can tell in the picture below how sun'd out I am!! I would have loved to have thrown on some makeup but I was just exhausted from our pool day! I was completely relaxed :)

Once we rested, the Husband recommended that we get out of the house for a little and spend some time together. We were on the same page! So, where do we go where we are so super happy like two little kids? Hershey!!! We drove over to Chocolate World and had a blast! I somehow talked him into getting our picture taken on a chocolate bar! Paper is a traditional 1st anniversary gift!  Take a look....

It wasn't at all what we planned but in the end it turned out to be the perfect day for our 1st anniversary!

Anniversary Picnic

This past Monday was filled with so much fun! We invited tons of friends and family for an anniversary picnic. It felt so good to be around my friends from home..It was also an opportunity to meet their children! It is so hard to believe that my friends...who I went to college with are parents!

Of course, I had a cake and cupcakes to assist in celebrating our 1 year anniversary!

Jasmine, from Couture Cakery created this beautiful cake for us! I gave her one of our wedding invitations...and well, results speak for themselves! It was very yummy :) And, I had to have some cupcakes for the kids! So, I thought of Jessica's post (Tying the Knot) and created some flags at the last minute. Of course my parent's printer was not able to print colored ink...so I used scrapbook paper to give a little design in the background. But, now I know how to make them and how cute the results can be!

Isn't he is very photogenic! He thought the cupcakes were yummy :)

And if you are wondering if we had some of our actual wedding cake...OF COURSE! We did that on our anniversary..which was Sunday :) May 30th! I will post some pics of that tomorrow... Here are some pictures of two adorable little ladies!

The day flew by and it was so hard to say goodbye...
One day we will be back East with all of our family & friends...till then we will keep throwing picnics & parties! I hope you all had a good memorial day with all of your special ones...It was great having one of our dear friends back with us from over seas...home & safe!
