Girls Wanna Have FUN!

So, i know...where do these ideas come from? Well, i want to have a blast getting ready for the big day! So, I'm thinking of buying my BMs these adorable knee high socks with green at the top then telling them to put together their most adorable fun outfit to get ready in! Why not?! Instead of stressing before the ceremony why not focus on having a blast with your girlfriends and taking tons of pictures! I hope Dustin (our photographer) is ready for all my crazy photo opt moment..click the picture to enlarge.

My Inspiration!

Invitations...hmmm

There are so many options out there for invites! They set the tone for your BIG day! I have come across several invitation styles that I have fell in love with but...they come with a big price tag. Honestly, I would love to design my own but I don't have a good printer nor program software. I have collected a few of my favorites. What will I choose?! I think I am definately stuck on the black/green/white palate!

Cocktail Hour...

For some reason cocktail hour is so important to me! After viewing several...websites/magazines I keep seeing these "signature drinks." Totally up my ally! My signature drink would be some type of martini and Darin's would be a cold lager! BUT! We must find some drinks that our guests will enjoy so please vote and lets hear it. Also! I got my dress!! It is a beautiful couture dress! Once the dress was in my car it all started to feel so real. The designer is Paloma Blanca.

So, we want to thank you for voting for which venue! We have decided to go with Ski Liberty! It really came down to...we wanted a traditional wedding. May 30, 2009 Is THE day! So put it on your calendar!!! We are really amazed by the responses for the serving of the meal! I would have thought being served would be the winner! So, we will see the prices..options..and go from there! I know the voting poll was acting up so I applogize and thanks for those who could vote!

Darin and I did get some of our engagement photos back...about 7 so far were posted and they turned out GREAT! I'm anxious for the rest! :) My Dad said his eyes got a little teary!

Bookings! the photographer and dj are set! Also, we have hired Jamie Lamb to coordinate the day of the wedding! Super awesome :) So then neither Darin or myself....or my Mother need to worry about anything but looking good for the camera! haha....

A Family Wedding :)

My cousin had her wedding last fall and I couldn't help but scout out every little detail! She did a lot herself with the help of her family and saved a ton on money. I must say...she has a very TALENTED family! I'm hoping over the summer when I'm back east she can help me make my own invitations! The colors of a Fall Wedding are gorgeous! Browns, Oranges, Reds, Coppers, Greens...etc. We had a blast at their wedding and I don't think we stopped dancing till the Dj left! Oh and the caramel apples were delicious!

Details

It's those little touches that make a party..or a wedding:) Some of the little extra details that I did come across, cost way to much to call "little." Though, I did find some that I could do myself or wouldn't cost much. I always imagined walking up the aisle with my groom with petals in the air.
